I installed the Nokia Active Server and Alert succesfully on my computer (Standalone-Windows 2000). I also succesfully added a Server Core and a Traffic Broker. When I tried to add the Push Subsystem and the Database, I received the following error message:
"Component "MyComponent" could not be contacted. Could not add component". Could someone please help me?

I was able to add the four components (database, traffic broker, server core and push subsystem) in standalone system and to start them. Maybe you try using the same host and port for all components and the recommended installation order for the components:
1. Database
2. Traffic broker
3. Server Core
4. Push subsystem
