Hi guys - thanks for any help in advance, I really appreciate it.
Problem: Cannot use my 3650 and M1000 BT headset correctly. Symptom: When I attempt to connect to the 3650 by pushing the blue/red button on my headset I get 1 beep (high pitched) and then 1 second later I get 1 beep (low pitched). The 3650 on the top right hand corner shows a (o) during this time then disappears. What I have tried: * Negative testing with bad passcode - I have the correct passcode. * Pressing the headset button twice * Placing a call and then pressing the blue/red button * Pushing the blue/red headset button and then plaing the call * Verified set as "Authorized device" * Verified no technical issues with Plantronics * Power cycled both devices * Verified Phone Visibilty is "Shown to all" Any ideas? I'm usually pretty good with this stuff and frankly i'm stumped. Either I am over looking something very simple which I am an idiot and take full resposibility for or Symbian and Plantronics M1000 just don't work together. Any ideas folks? Thanks Razz http://www.thecurbguy.com |

Aparently only nokia Headsets will work as they run a differant profile to every body else. I would give up trying and take the headset back for a refund.

The 3650 uses the much better Handsfree Bluetooth profile when connecting to audio peripherals such as car kits and headsets. most headsets use only Headset Bluetooth profile. This is an older profile for headsets. Nokia's HDW-2 as well as the SonyEricsson HBH-60 use both profiles, which in the upcoming bluetooth implementation guide will be the standard for all mobile phone headsets with the Handsfree Profile being the preferred profile to use. Basically Nokia and SonyEricsson follow the guidelines and others are not.
