Hi there.
I'm trying do deliver video clips embedded in a MMS with this results: 1.- .3gp videos work fine. 2.- .rm videos doesn't work from the MMS. I get "Unable to display message. Select Objects ...". If I select "Objects" I can play the video. It seems like Real Player only play files from memory, but not from MMS Attachments. - Is this right? - Is this a Mime Type problem? - What's the correct mime type for ".rm" video files? - Can you please provide me a smil example with rstp:// protocol? Thanks in advance: xabi PS: Sorry for my English. |

Hi,
The Nokia video player is the one that is integrated to the MMS viewer. That's why Real files cannot be opened in the viewer. Best regards, V / Forum Nokia |

Thanks for your fast answer. But I still have a few questions.
I read at "Video in Nokia Phones 1.0": Real Player ..... This player is gradually replacing Nokia Video Player in Nokia 3650 ... 1.- Does this mean that Real will play MMS attachments in the future? 2.- Must I only embed "H.263 + AMR" video in MMS messages? 3.- Is there any other "codec" I can use to generate videos for direct playing in MMS messages (Mpeg4, ...) 4.- I still would like to have a Smil example of the RSTP:// protocol. Many thanks again: xabi |

Hi,
1. ROP can play MMS attachments signed to it already now, but not in the MMS viewer. 2. As H.263 and AMR are 3GPP standards, I suggest to use those. 3. No. 4. ...to embed an rstp link to the MMS message??? Best regards, V / Forum Nokia |
