Hello.
I have managed to pair the 7650 with my Vaio, running XP Professional. Have downloaded 7650 Nokia PC suite that is supposed to support XP. BlueSpace sees 7650 fine but Nokia Connection Manager says No Phone Connected. Any help will be much appreciated. |

Its the same with the 6310i. I was told to update to firmware 5.5 and to use pc suite 4.88 or later, but both did not solve the problem.
This is an ongoing issue: Lots of complaints, but no solution. There must be something real wrong with the pc suite implementation, as I am able to communicate with the phone through TDK Mobile (Version 3.4) without any problems. TDK mobile unfortunately does not support proper sync with outlook etc. As to the bluetooth connection: Pairing is ok and using the phone via bluetooth to establish a dial up connection works just fine. I am even able to transfer vcf-cards to the phone via bluetooth. But I am not able to establish a connection using pc suite. Nokia, are you listening? |

At last I have found a place where I see other people are experiencing the same problems...
I can pair my Vaio with the 3650 no problem. Can set as "authenticated" device... no problem. I can send pics/videos from my 3650 to the Sony via bluetooth, no problem! I CANNOT connect the two devices and start up PC SUITE though. The bluetooth connection program, "Bluespace" reports that it cannot find any "services" running on the 3650... i.e. it does see it but refuses to connect. This 3650 is going out of the window soon :-(.. This is so infuriating. Anyone any ideas...? |

DOES ANYONE ON NOKIA EVER ACCESS THIS FORUM?
I´m trying for days to connect my 7650 with PC Suite (1.2.0) and nothing happens. No sucess and I´m a System Administrator and software developer!!! I´m using a 3Com 3CREB96 Bluetooth adapter that wotks fine on a WinXP Pro. (It should. I´ve paid 200US$ for it - just as expensive as the 7650). I DID NOT see anything from NOKIA telling us how to fix this issue. I need to make this PC Suite work. I´ve exchanged my old palm for this cellphone ´cause i wanted to have calendar, to do list and my contacts on the go and a mobile phone on the same equipament. If I can´t make PC Suite works, I can´t synchronyze with my Outlook. If I can´t do it, this high technology 7650 model just doesn´t worth my money or my time. I always trusted NOKIA for the best mobiles ever. I guess it just isn´t anymore. |

You don't need to see services on the phone the services you need to worry about are on your computer, you have to assign serial port services in order for an application to port to a device. Assign a serial port and select the com port it uses in the mRouter, then open PC Suite.
