I have read every forum, thread, msg, email, posting, pdf, manual and several other sources of information but still no luck.
I have: Belkin F8T001 BT adaptor - with the new drivers and software Nokia 3650 PC suite - download from this website. Win 2000 Pro My problem is that the mRouter Connection Properties only lists a infrared device (that does not exist). There are no Serial ports listed. I can send images from my phone to the PC with BT - no problem In the device manager of my PC the serial ports are listed and all seems to be working fine. I can setup a paired connection with the phone but under no circumstances can I get the mRouter to see the serial ports or the PC Suite to connect to the phone. I have installed, uninstalled and rebooted in about 20 different ways. PLEASE HELP OR LET ME KNOW IF I AM NOT ALONE!!! |

The Belkin adaptor does work with the Nokia (and XP), although not reliably, and not very well.
Right click on My Device in BT places, and see what the serial port in 'Clients' is. Mine is COM5, and set up as Secure. Make sure that this is ticked in MRouter. To connect, either right click on the BT icon in the systray, and do Quick Connect Serial Port (I find this works only once, and after the BT session, the BT software locks up). Or browse my BT places to your mobile phone, and double click on the serial port (This pops up an error box for me, but the connection still works). Sometimes the MRouter doesn't connect - this may be because I use the hibernate feature of my PC each day - I haven't managed to work out the pattern yet. Regardless of these serial port lockups and problems, the drag&drop File exchange works reliably. Regards, Steve C |

My phone and PC can communicate and I do transfer files and that but my PC Suite does not work.
If I open mRouter it only displays one Infrared device and nothing else. I have no problem with the Belkin device but with the mRouter software. |

I read a thread on some forum that described the exact same problem.
What people suggested there is to replace the mRouter with the 1.1 version mRouter. That seemed to work for most of them |

DOES ANYONE ON NOKIA EVER ACCESS THIS FORUM?
I´m trying for days to connect my 7650 with PC Suite (1.2.0) and nothing happens. No sucess and I´m a System Administrator and software developer!!! I´m using a 3Com 3CREB96 Bluetooth adapter that wotks fine on a WinXP Pro. (It should. I´ve paid 200US$ for it - just as expensive as the 7650). I DID NOT see anything from NOKIA telling us how to fix this issue. I need to make this PC Suite work. I´ve exchanged my old palm for this cellphone ´cause i wanted to have calendar, to do list and my contacts on the go and a mobile phone on the same equipament. If I can´t make PC Suite works, I can´t synchronyze with my Outlook. If I can´t do it, this high technology 7650 model just doesn´t worth my money or my time. I always trusted NOKIA for the best mobiles ever. I guess it just isn´t anymore. |

Check the discussion forums at All About Symbian - http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/phpBB2/index.php. If you do a searcg for mRouter your should be able to find the thread that talks about it...

The Belkin Bluetooth adapters will work with the Nokia 3650.
Download the connection guide here (835KB) http://plus.xdrive.com/s/370175131Vh...G?partner=xdrv You may also request the guide by emailing techsupp@belkin.com |

I'd be willing to bet the reason you don't see the ports listed in mRouter is because you installed PC Suite before the bluetooth device. Uninstall both and install the bluetooth first, you should be able to see the ports then.
