Ericsson HBH-10 supports Headset Profile
Nokia 3650 supports Handsfree Profile

Therefore they are not interoperable with each other.

I have just spoken with Nokia Technical support, and he basicly contradicted what seepo is saying. He told me there is no seperate profiles and any headset will work but some functions may not work properly. This also condradicts the company who make the headset. Who is right?

After reading through some additional bluetooth information posted in the forum and understand that Nokia 3650 only support the Handsfree Profile and does not support the Headset profile, I decided to just buy the Nokia HDW-2 Wireless headset.

The 3650 uses the much better Handsfree Bluetooth profile when connecting to audio peripherals such as car kits and headsets. most headsets use only Headset Bluetooth profile. This is an older profile for headsets. Nokia's HDW-2 as well as the SonyEricsson HBH-60 use both profiles, which in the upcoming bluetooth implementation guide will be the standard for all mobile phone headsets with the Handsfree Profile being the preferred profile to use. Basically Nokia and SonyEricsson follow the guidelines and others are not.
