I am using a Socket Bluetooth Card and the Epoc emulator to connect to another device. Sometimes I found the device and the service I want and I can connect to it and send a message. But most off the time the device can't be found or an SDP error occurs (-6004).

The devices are only 30 cm apart so it cant be the distance. Does anyone now why I most of the time can't find the device?

And is it possible to recieve data from the device to the epoc emulator if the connection is up or is it only possible to send data from the emulator?

Which device are you trying to connect to?

You can receive data if you have an application running on the emulator that has initialised a Bluetooth service. See 'Setting Up and Using Bluetooth Testing Environment for Series 60 Platform' document in Bluetooth Documents section for further information:

I am trying to connect to a Industrial LAN Access Point. I have managed to connect to it using RFCOMM protocol and then I send a message through an RSocket. But then the access point will send a message back to me but I don't get it. I am using RecvOneOrMore to wait for a message on the same RSocket. But nothing happens.

Do you know whats wrong?
