Hi,

Can I write a J2ME application that can send AT Commands to the
SIM Card ??

My requirement is that my application should Send/Receive SMS.

Since WMA is not supported by most phones, I am exploring this
avenue.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

regards,

Madhavan

Hi,

It is not possible to send AT commands to SIM card from a midlet. However, you can make this kind of application for a PC and communicate with your phone via infrared port or serial cable. You can for example use Java Comminications API or Nokia PC Connectivity SDK.
