can anyone help me out. i want to use traditional c application with series60 applications, i know howto create a exe on Symbian OS (tht can access the standard C Functions), But i want to access my Program from the Series 60 GUI and use the values returned by my C function in to GUI application fro Series 60 .

I meet the same problem? now, I can get the pointer of AppUi in the same thread. but when I create a new thread, the pointer of AppUi I got is NULL, there is a way to get the Pointer of AppUi in a new thread?

Hi,

I think I am a little confused about your question. Do you want to make function calls defined in some .c files? or you want to launch another .exe application from your GUI application (the .exe applicated is created using some .c file?). If it is the former case, please follow the link:

It will tell you how to do it. If it is the latter one, what is the point of creating a .exe application?
