What phone would you choose that is compatabile with WinXP to use with my laptop and use as a modem, as we travel frequently.
Need a dual mode, data port, digital and analog data capabilities and cell flex with data that will allow e to stay connected to the internet as we roam different cell locations, Cingular has to be my cell service. Would a 8390 or 6590 do what I need it to do?
Would a cell phone modem card, like TrumpCard work for what I want to do?
Thanking you in advance
Sandra

This isn't really a question for this board. You probably should contact customer service for Nokia or Cingular and have them help you. But in my opinion if you use Cingular then your best available option would be the 6340i programmed as a true GAIT phone. With this you have dual mode tdma/gsm data capability available. If you want analog and digital then you would need an older phone like a 5160i that supports both.
