When BTAdvertiser is executed and start advertise on Nokia 7650. I try to explore Nokia 7650 services in PC (use widcomm bluetooth driver V1327). But still only 5 default services was found.
Does this example have any problem ?

Hooner.

You should find 5 preinstalled Bluetooth services + possible 3rd party application specific services:

Preinstalled Bluetooth services of Nokia 7650:
-OBEX File Transfer
-OBEX Object Push
-Dial-Up Networking
-Fax Access
-Serial Port 'Bluetooth Serial Port'

One service initialized in the BTAdvertiser example:
-Serial Port 'Serial'

#3 Old Same Problem with BTAdvertiser and BTPointToPoint - 2003-08-21, 11:29

I have the same problem as described above with the BTAdvertiser and the BTPointToPoint examples. The advertised services are neither shown at the "Bluetooth Neighbourhood" of an EPoX BT USB Adapter nor in the "BT Manager" of an iPAQ 3870.
The 5 preinstalled services are found everytime.
Is there anything I could be doing wrong?

Could it be that your Bluetooth device cannot show multiple serial ports of remote devices?

#5 Old Seems to be a BrowseGroupList problem ... - 2003-08-25, 17:13

First it seems to me to be some problem like this, too. But the I started playing around with the attributes of the registered services and tried to give it exactly the same attributes as the preinstalled "Serial Port Service" uses. And if I add the "BrowseGroupList" Attribut (set to PublicBrowseGroup, which is 0x1002) to the service, it is discovered by all the devices.
