I have installed active server 2.1 on w2000 server , got a public IP 211.x.x.x for the server , and got a modem and fixed phone line connecting to the server (01084xxxxxx) , set up RAS via a Incoming connection ( username:wap,password:wap) , then I setup nokia 8310 via csd , but connection always timeout? at the same time the active server manager can not be started ? I have successfully visited the wml page via the gateway setting using browser simulator. but when use mobile phone , it donot work?and the web serber is aparche 2.0. and I also visit commercial wap site , it failed too?

You need to install JRE 1.3.1 for the Activ Server(and the mamager interface). Please remove all other JREs.

After you successfully install the Activ Server, and start the Activ Server manager, you need to config the components and start them one by one. For the WAP gateway(and all other functions), Server Core must be up and running. Please read the administration guide delivered with the software for more information about how to config the components.

Nokia is not selling Activ Server anymore.
