I am able to use the jabra headset, after sending my original back to the company and recieving a new one - COOL

I am able to dial out on my 3650 from my hp5450 - again COOL

My problem is I cannot do the following:

First dial out from my hp5450 and then once the phone is dialing use my jabra headset to talk. If I dial out using my hp5450 I must first wait till my call has ended then I can connect my jabra.

Is there a way that I can follow the procedure described above?

Audio reserves both channels so that you cannot establish a data connection simultaneously. So you just have to dial from the phone.

I've got the same problem with dialling the phone using a 5450 and a 6310i. I'm running firmware 5.50 on the Nokia and 1.10 on the iPAQ. I can use the phone to connect to a gprs session, but cannot set up a voice call from the 5450.

The dialog on the 5450 shows:
Discovered SPP on 'N'
Creating RFCOMM connection
The number has been sent to be dialled
The connection to the phone has been disconnected

The first three lines are preceeded by a tick, and the third, a cross. Could it have something to do with the fact that 5.50 has a special serial port profile for the Data Suite?

Your hp5450 is dialing out through the 3650 as a modem. This type of configuration is going to use DUN profile for connectivity. This will cause the phone to find the data service and proceed to connect to the number dialed as a modem. Once the number is dialed there would be no modem response from the number and call will disconnect.
If this is the type of configuration you are looking for you may try connecting the headset to the hp and dial out to gprs or csd internet service through the phone and use a voice over IP service, or wait until hp and mobile phone manufacturers add the telephony profile.
