I have encountered the same problems discussed in this forum to go beyond a pairing of the 3650 and Sony's VAIO Z1SP laptop. I did manage to do everything with 3650 and a desktop with Belkin's USB Bluetooth dongle. It was not 'plug and play' but it ended-up working.
Who can tell me how to connect succesfully the 3650 and the Z1SP? No one at Sony USA (it is not supported in the USA) Thanks! |

Hi michaou & edgara,
Here another person with same problem. I posted the Z1SP & 3650 problem in this forum few weeks ago and did not get any further since. The devices do find each other, but no bluetooth services are enabled. This is leading me to the conclusion, that the Sony built-in bluetooth adapter simply does not support the same bluetooth profiles as Nokia does :-( I have sent out Questionary to Sony to define me the supported profiles. Nokia supports fllowing ones: 3650 (1.1) Sync, File Transfer, DUN, Fax, Object Push (vCard, vCalendar, vNote), NEW: vPicture und vSound Obex + IrMc, AT-Commands, TCP/IP +PPP DTL-4 (1.1) , Socket PC Card (1.1) If I found out something more, I will post it here. Yours, samberlin |

THERE ARE ISSUES USING THE BLUETOOTH SERIAL CONNECTION USING SONY'S BLUESPACE NE SOFTWARE WITH ALL SORTS OF DEVICES, IT SEEMS TO ONLY WORK WITH SONY DEVICES LIKE CLIEs AND SONYERICSSONs.
