Hi, I'm newbie with wap technologies.

Is there an additional configuration to apply on Nokia Activ Server 2.1 (Solaris version) to allow transfer of midlet files (jad and jar).

Do we have (and where to) declare mime types of .jar and .jad in config files

Did you experienced the use of NAS2.1 with midlet ? any limitations (file size etc ... )?

Thanks
Franck

Hi,

As mentioned already, Nokia is not selling Active Server anymore.

Hi

We are using also the Nokia Activ Server 2.1 on Sun solaris 8.

There is no problem to download Mildlets. The size limit is 100 KB and you should add the following mime types in your WEB server:

.jad text/vnd.sun.j2me.app-descriptor
.jar application/java-archive
