Is a serial port (RS232) available in Nokia 6310i?
I mean if I connect a device (accessible through a serial port) to the cellular phone's data port can I open a serial connection from a MIDLet with javax.microedition.io.StreamConnection?

Hi Alan,

Serial port is not available in Nokia 6310i. CommConnection is one of the new features that are specified in MIDP 2.0 (JSR 118). Please find more information about MIDP 2.0 from http://jcp.org/jsr/detail/118.jsp
