Hi Eric,
For both series S40 and S60 phones, WAV and OTT format are supported by implementing Nokia UI API. OTT format is defined in Nokia Smart Messaging specification, the corcerned documents can be downloaded from the messaging section in Forum Nokia site. The phones implemented MMAPI could also support playing back MIDI file. Regards, Kui |

Do you mean I can play mid in Java Application on Nokia s40?
Thanks, |

Hi,
Nokia 3300 is a S40 phones that implemented MMAPI, You could play back MIDI in that model. For playing back wav file, I think most of the Nokia S40 phones don't support although it has been specified in the Nokia UI API. Regrads, Kui |

Thanks,
You mean only 3300 can play mid or all s40 can play mid? |
|
Nokia 3300 has implemeneted MMAPI, so it works with MIDI format. Other S40 phones not.
