Does anybody know if it is possible to create your own 3d screensaver? If it is how do you get it onto my phone?

Any help or examples will be appreciated.

It is currently not possibe through Java.

3D Screensaver? Real-time or pre-rendered?

If it's real time, you might need to write your own 3D engine, straight on the hardware, don't think J2ME can support 3D that well.

If pre-rendered, then it's a matter of rendering your 3d animation into GIF format.


John Romero (Monkeystone.com) got a 3D FPS running on N-gage.
