Is it possible to send/recieve data to a server using SMS or MMS?
IS there some SMSC or MMSC "emulator" that I can use to teste my application using device emulators???

Java MIDlet can send and receive SMS messages, both in binary and text format.

You can test SMS sending/receiving using WMA console, supplied with Sun's WTK.
Though, be ready to the fact that making JBuilder, WMA console and Nokia emulator can be a painful task :) (it is posiible, I did it)

Thank you very much...
I did it with WTK2.0 and JBuilder .... ( but I coud not do it with Nokia emulators for Series 60 .... ) The problem is that I wanted to send a SMS or MMS from a computer to a cell phone, but I think that it is not possible....
