I have a image that I want to use first at it's normal size and then at a smaller scale.

2)
I'm drawing parts of an image using setclip. I want that some of the clips to be drawn in black and white and the others normal (as in the image).

Please, help!

1) There is a function to rescale images here:
http://kobjects.org/utils4me/

2) Just use setColor(0) and fillRect() when you want the background to be black.

I haven't tested the function yet.

But, about the second question : what I met was :haw can I draw a colored image let's say, for example, the left half of the image as it is, colored, and the right half black and white, not just draw a black rectangle, I ment draw part of a picture black and white.

OK. You'll have to grab the pixels with DirectGraphics' getPixels() and manipulate them to create a black and white copy then. I've never tried anything like that...
