hi everybody

Im trying to create two sound players for two sounds in a game for 3650 nokia. Im not mix them, i dont want to, just a sound for an specific event and another for a second event.

But i had problems with that because the phone is "freezed", i know that the phone cant mix sounds and in my code i put flags for not overlap the sounds. The results is the same.

How can i do to play two sounds in two differents moments?

I had a similar problem, different sounds for different events worked on the emulator but not on the target device.

The lockup only occured when one sound was playing and I tried to start a new one, out of blind hope I had simply neglected some sound state checking.

Deliberately checking for a sound having a state of SOUND_PLAYING and then having sound.stop(); applied to it fixed the problem. No doubt there's a more efficient means to achieve this, but I'm still much of a newbie :)
