When I call the method platformRequest() in the new 3650 emulator I get a message in the messages window which says :
Platform request: ----------------- Requesting the platform to load <+1111111> ----------------- What behviour should I expect when I do it on a real MIDP 2.0 Nokia device?

Isn't platformRequest() an MIDP 2.0 method and the 3650 an MIDP 1.0 phone? I wonder how you got that to compile and run.
shmoove ps: In your place I would edit your post and take out that phone number. You won't want to many "matridim" calling you, right? |

First of all many thanks for saving me, I didn't notice that I had left the number.
Second, I run the application on an 3650 emulator which supports MIDP-2.0, and not on the real device, as there is no real device that supports MIDP-2.0 |

No problem for the saving.
And now for the answering. From what I read platformRequest() with a phone number is supposed to initiate a voice call if the device supports this. Obviously this can't work on the emulator. As far as the behaviour on a real device, there's not much to do except wait for one to be available. You know what is supposed to happen, but as I'm sure you have already noticed, what is supposed to happen is not always what actually happens. shmoove |

Yes I know.
I just wanted Nokia to tell me if they would implement it on the real device |
