Hi , Have been using Helix server to setup content download.Have put up few .rm files to download.Though the audio rm files are streaming and playing, video rm files gives an error that "not enough bandwidth".Have been using Nokia3650 and have tried out with different settings of 26.8 bandwith and others. The video files play well when accessed on a PC browser.Cant be a operator problem as audion files are streaming and also video files from real play well on the mobile.Have also tried using infrared to put the video file directly to the phone and it works fine.
Pls advice.

Hi, Here are the URL for the rm files to check -
rtsp://61.129.77.47:554/d.rm - video file
rtsp://61.129.77.47:554/b.rm - audio file (this one works on the phone)

Hi,

If you have following line in your wml page:
<a href="http://HOSTNAME/abc.rm">streaming test</a>

And following line in your abc.rm file:
rtsp://streaming_host/video.rm

If you select the link "streaming test", you start to play the file in streaming. And streaming is something "play while downloading", which is different from download using http.

If you can play audio/video clips from Real in above ways on N3650, there is no problems in Helix server and operator network. The problem might be in the stage of video clip generating. How do you create the video clip, do you use Helix Producer or other tools?

Hi,

Try to use max. 20 kbit/s for the video bit rate. Also keep the frame size in sub-QCIF (128x96) or in QCIF (176x144). Use 5-10 seconds intra refresh period. Suggested frame rate for sub-QCIF is 7.5-10 fps and for QCIF 3-5 fps.

Try these and let me know if it works.

Best regards,
