Does any one know when nokia are releasing a phone with the
PAN, LAN profile that will enable easy web browsing & WAP OVER BLUETOOTH with bluetooth phones? WOB: Nokia writes about it on their webpage. Ericsson has a BlipNet solution but no phone supporting a easy use for the access-point solution. Has nokia come some where with this matter in implemeting a stack that supports this kind of use? It sure would be nice if all phones with bluetooth being able to browse the web in hotspots, not needing to use the network providers with their obscure prizes when browsing with the cellular. The bluetooth forum are having seminars and meeting all over the world but does the phone ever gone be implemented for this use. It´s a piece of cake for nokia to implement easy use of this kind into their phones. Then maybe people would start buying phones with bluetooth because the ordinary man could use it for more then the minority range of use that it is today. It´s all good with bluetooth headsets and sow on but it wont be interesting for the larger amount of people until then. Bluetooth is what WiFi is for computers. It's time to use it for what it is capable of doing. Every one knows it, are the phone distributors affraid of the networks providers, that sell their phones. People are going to want the phones even if the low life network providers are putting pressure on this matter that they will loose a great deal of money if people are being able to go to hotspots with their cellphones and browse for free information. Any one with a thougth of mind in this question? Sincerley lappiteam |
