Does anyone know a way how to get a working connection between those 2 so i can use PC Suite?
Some background: In the Windows XP Pro control panel you can choose the wireless link. You can add devices and it recognize the phone but after make it a pair with your phone you are disconnected. I have version 5.50 on my phone and it seems that no one knows how to solve this. The (very) strange answer of the Nokia helpdesk was that they work only with big partners on Bleutooth technology. Microsoft is indeed a small partner!!! But if you look at www.bluetooth.com it looks different. For a business phone like this one a very bad move of Nokia. I think Nokia should do there job if they want to keep their business clients satisfied.

I've read in quite a few places that the Microsoft Bluetooth does not support the Serial Profile, which is what you need to connect to the Nokia.
This one isn't a Nokia issue, it's a Microsoft issue. Thei BT implementation was only intended to talk to their devices. I doubt there will ever be a fix/workaround. |
