What are the exact steps involved in making a MIDlet trusted?
I tried to follow the procedures as shown on SUN's homepage and the Nokia Development Suite's HELP page. Everything went fine indicating that my MIDlet was signed etc. However, when it comes to actual installation on the handset, it failed to install. So it will be greatly appreciated if someone can give a clear run down on the steps involved in getting a MIDlet to be "trusted". (Nokia N6600) |

Does the 6600 support verification of signed MIDlets ?
If so, can it verify a signed MIDP2 application against a self-signed certificate which the developer has installed and marked as trusted for code verification ? I heard some developers were unable to get this to work on the 6600 ? |

This would really disappoint if you need to be signed by a recognised CA just to get a trusted midlet working on the 6600

We tried self-signing our app and it won't download either. Looks like they're going to require a CA signature.
