We are having some problems here with some OTT files that works perfectly on 7650 but they fail on s30/40. I get an java.lang.IllegalArgumentException

The file is 344 bytes (248 notes) and I guess thats the problem. I tried to remove random notes and got it down to 214 and then it works fine. Thing is that I also have another one that is 311 bytes but only 150 notes and that works fine !!!

So I'm just wondering if there is a max number of bytes or notes allowed in one OTT.

Guess no one wants to reply, so here is the solution or the reason why we have the problem :)

The problem is NOT with number of bytes nor number of tones. If you look at the tracker view in the Composer you will see the time line. This may not go beyond 256. Seems that only a byte is used for this on series 30 and 40, but a short on series 60.

Can any one confirm this ?
