help!! I downloaded an example call Media Sampler MIDlet from Nokia forum but i cannot play the midi,amr,wave and the video file. It keep giving me the error "No file specified for type xxx".(xxx stand for the the file type i tried to play).

can any expert help me....

Hmm... that sounds strange. Which model did you try to run the example in? What's the firmware version of it? Currently Nokia 3650 and 3300 have implemented MMAPI.

Could you play back other audio format, for instance, tone sequence in Media Sampler MIDlet?

i can play the example perfectly. but when i tried to modify the program it give me the problem. i run the example using Nokia Developer's Suite for J2ME™, Version 2.0 for Windows.

yes it can play tone sequence in Media Sampler MIDlet.
it just cannot play file with extention wav,midi,amr and video file.

it also give the error "unable to load class javax/microedition/media/playerlistener" when i tried to run it with sunone studio ME.

It could be a file size issue, I think there might be limt of around 40k for midi and awb files. How do you make an awb file anyway?
The media converter only outputs amr not awb.

Make sure you also use the .jad file that comes with the Media Sampler MIDlet. It contains the parameters which specify the filenames being used by the MIDlet for playback.
