What's the best way to create a "white" copy of an image? I have a image that, when hit by a bullit, should turn white for a second to show that a collision took place.

I could create two images of the object, one colour and another white, but I assume there is a better method for creating the effect.

any ideas?

You could mess around with the different methods in the Nokia specific class DirectGraphics, but unless you are in serious troubles as far as application size, I wouldn't do it. Having two separate images will perform much better.

Application size is fine so creating two images shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for your help.

I create highlighted/unhighlited image while loading all the images.
I use simple procedure that copies the image, takes all the pixels of a given color and changes their color to another one.
