Hi,

how do I determine legal decoder fps/rate for a given codec/mime-type?

Software decoders are of course dependent on available processing power, but some kind of min/max/average rate would still be helpfull. Systems with hardware decoders ought to know their precise specs.

I've read the video and streaming guide from Nokia, but extracting the numbers directly through some system property in java or whatever seems much better than typing the suggested rates into my app.
