I got today my Nokia 6600 and tried the Gameloft games "Price of Persia" and "Spliter Cell". Both games are working on Nokia 3650, but not on Nokia 6600.
Bad, Nokia, bad! Will it be possible to upgrade the 6600 firmware with possible bugfixes ? I guess, not? Regards, Sebastian Szczygiel |

There are so many post that reports that there are many problem running games on 6600. I have a game and I really like to know if it's running well on 6600. Could you try it please?
My game is available at: www.kisember.com/rescue/ksdbrescue.jar and www.kisember.com/rescue/ksdbrescue.jad Thanks |

Looks like the people at GameLoft need to offer you a job Kisember ;)

@Sebastian: Million thanks for the very quick answer. Nice to know that works.
@shmoove: That would be nice if somebody offer me a great job ;) |

BTW: I installed your game via infrared on my 6600 and i can see the game-icon! if i do the same with gameloft games i get only the standard puzzle icon (which indicates that it's an application).
@kisember: Maybe you can tell us how your description file looks like or what could be the problem, why the game-icon in gameloft games isn't shown on nokia 6600. Regards, Sebastian Szczygiel |

Actually, I have never used the MIDlet-Icon attribute, instead I have always had the icon in the MIDlet-n attribute. And still, on all Nokia handsets I've tried the icon did appear on the MIDlet list, so I guess that Nokias behave differently that way.
