Hi there,
Im using a Compaq Evo N400c running Windows 2000 professional. The bluetooth connection itself works fine, however, when the laptop goes into suspend mode and is then restored, the bluetooth neighbourhood in the only piece of software which no longer runs properly. On double clicking on the device icon the following error message appears "Service discovery on device failed". The only way to get this working properly again is to completely power down the system and restart. Any ideas on how this can be prevented and the bonding between the handset and the laptop maintained even after going into suspend mode? on April 16, 2002 at 12:26 It is recommended not to let the laptop to hibernate while using Bluetooth, as the Bluetooth radio cannot recover from this. |
