Hi all,
At last i've been able to bond my nokia with the ipaq. The solution sounds ridiculous but believe me it works! Open bluetooth manager, search for all devices, it should find your nokia phone. Change the default passkey for all bluetooth devices to a random numeric code that can be keyed in very quickly e.g. 1111. When i tried to bond with nokia phone, the phone prompted me to enter in my passcode , i entered in the code (1111) very quicky (under a second), and it worked. Since then i've had no problems using the nokia for dial ups. Posted by carla O' Hare, carla.ohare@fds.ie on May 02, 2002 at 13:00 |

Hi,
I have a 6310i and a IPaq 3630, and the Armadillo Bluetooth card for it. I have had no such problems with the pairing system. Mine just worked as expected. Are you using a Nokia bluetooth card, that may be the reason. My only, but mostly annoying problem, is that the Nokia PC Synch software do not support bluetooth connections, with any other bluetooth interfaces than nokias 'private' BT Card solution. Sounds like a joke, but thats the truth. /Henrik |
