All the standard parameters seems to be well set. But when establishing a connection, the phone says there is a autentification problem.
Somebody knows the answer? (they are yet vinculated, paired) Posted by rosa irizar, rosa.irizar@alef.biz on May 06, 2002 at 17:49 |

Its hard to know what you mean. I guess it is DUN you are talking about. The rest of the answer is aimed at Dial Up Networking.
You say the devices are paired, and then the only authentication you need when doing DUN is the Account login and password, which has nothing to do with Bluetooth. In your connection settings on the PPC, you set up the account you dial up to, and there you also set the password. Check if you typed it correctly. If you are still in doubt, you can also set up a IR link between the two units. Then you may test your dial up settings, while not using Bluettoth. /Henrik |

There is a software update for the Bluetooth Connection Manager that runs on the iPaq 3870. This is available for download at the Compaq web site: http://www.compaq.com/support. Current version is 1.1.
