Receiving SMS with JavaME -

Hello,
i have a problem with receiving SMS messages. I can receive messages if I create a connection with a port number in the address (e.q. sms://:5000). My question is how to receive general SMS. For example to send messages without port number is possible (sms://+49349399393), but how to receive. I am using WTK2.0, SUN ONE Mobile Edition and Nokia 6600. br oj

It is not possible to receive messages without the port number.
This behavior is defind by the WMA specification. MIDlets were invented to be safe things to download from anywhere and it cannot be considered secure to let unknown MIDlet read every SMS, can it? ;)
