Hi guys, not having done much UI stuff before this is probably a really trivial question.

Ok, firstly my understanding of the way Symbian draws stuff is that any app specific drawing should be placed in an overloaded Draw() method and the appropriate region to draw should be invalidated with a call elsewhere to Window ().Invalidate () or Window.Invalidate (Rect).

Ok so far as this is pretty simple Window-esq stuff.

However, if the drawing code is packed up into a method of the view and this method is then called from Draw () i get a panic, if i just place the same lines phyiscally in the Draw () method - it works ?

Any suggestions?
