I recently purchased a Belkin FBT001uk device to connect my Nokia phone (6310i) to my Compaq Tablet TC1000 machine. I have installed the adapter and have managed to get the adapter to communicate with a series of Bluetooth enabled devices. However, I cannot get my Nokia phone to communicate with the device? Has anyone experienced any similar problems? I cannot figure out why it will not work? Do I have to upgrade the firmware on my phone?

The firmware needs to be 5.50 or higher press *#000# to see what version yours is.

Hi,
I'm pretty new to all this, and am having real trouble getting my Belkin BT adapter to work at all well with my NOKIA 6600. I tried the code for checking firmware and I got message and got message 'request not completed' - Unlike *#06# this does not auto execute on entry of final #. Any ideas ???? Mark |

I would have thought that by now Nokia would have sorted out
the problems that the earlier software had with Bluetooth so, in your case, I`d say this isn`t an issue. (Just guessing mind you, I`ve never even seen a 6600 ) |
