Can we use the USB dongle in the PC to do testing?
(i am using SDK 2.0 and WTK2.1) becuase when i test my bluetooth program in the emulator. It always no response. And Windows report it as error....>_< any solution ???? thanks a lot!~!!!! |

With the Series 60 MIDP 1.2 SDK I've been successfully using DTL-X to write Bluetooth software. It emulates Nokia's own Bluetooth card so works with both the MIDP and Symbian SDKs - although the author states that it isn't compatible with the 2.0 release.

You also need a spare Bluetooth adapter (unless you don't intend to use your existing one for anything else).

if you can live with emulator, Series60 MIDP SDK is a good starting point. I put together a tutorial on how to develop bluetooth app with WTK 2.1 and Series60 MIDP SDK. you can find this tutorial at
