Hi,
Im want to achieve communication between the bluetooth emulator and real Bluetooth devices. I've checked out the bluetooth faq at http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/1,65..._50_10,00.html I see that its possible with the use of laptop PCMCIA cards for laptops, usb bluetooth dongles seem not to be usable for this scenario. Has anybody tried to use a PCI-PCMCIA adaptor on their desktop pc to allow use of these cards, and been successfull with allowing the emulator to communicate with real devices? I would like to know if anybody has been successfull before I purchase the pc card and adapter! Alternativily does anybody have any alternatives that could be tried? Niall |

Thanks niallobrien,
I could find some information.. But still not yet confirmed about the hardware to be used. you can find clearly on which i am working and what i need in this thread. http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...threadid=41761 if you are also working with JAVA Bluetooth API and on Series 60 MIDP Concept SDK Beta 0.3.1, Nokia Editition, then i think we both are on same track. you can contact me at dgraf1980@yahoo.com. May be can discuss more about the development too.. Regards, dgraf |
