Hi there!
I am planning system where my own software runs in PC and in series 60 smartphone. I want to communicate between PC and phone directly from my software to my software via Bluetooth. Data I want to send and receive are codes that my software can understand.

Is it possible to send and receive directly from SW to SW?
Is there special BT profile that I must use?
Is bluetooth SDK available for PC programming?

Best regards
Markus

-Yes it is possible.
-You can use Serial Port Profile. (We will soon have a sample that shows how to create a RFCOMM connection and transfer data)
-We provide a Nokia Series 60 SDK for writing applications on phone (the first phone supporting Series 60 is the Nokia 7650). We don't provide Bluetooth SDKs for Windows. Basically it shouldn't make a difference what SDK for Windows you use.
