Hi, I'd like to play sound on Nokia 3100 with Nokia UI API.

As I read on this board, I may need *.ott file to play, because, if I want to play sound with the API, I need byte array data.

like this:

DataInputStream dis = new DataInputStream(data.getClass().
getResourceAsStream("/harryporter.ott"));
int bytesRead = dis.read(data);
soundData = new byte[bytesRead];

Nevertheless, I couldn't find any OTT file at anywhere, and I don't know how to convert MIDI file to OTT file.

Is anybody who know how to use MIDI file for the API or how to make OTT file with any tool?

The Nokia Developers Suite for J2ME will convert a midi file to an OTT or to just to byte data. It just does a really crappy job at it. I've got a midi file where it plays back the wrong notes on the phone, and I read elsewhere that the OTT conversion strips out most of the data including note duration and some other elements.
