send me the MesaGL.dll and osmesa.dll version 5.0.2 at epiperak@cs.ntua.gr or upload it somewhere so that other people do not have to ask for those 2 files all the time.

I am wondering, why did not Nokia package those two files with the rest of m3g.

I managed to compile them by myself too using cygwin, but it is nice to know that somebody did care enough to email me 2Mb!

PS. You seem to be the JSR184 Guru, from what I read in the forum. So here comes another question :-/

To convert to .m3g (from lets say Poser 5 or 3DS Max 6) is there a free program/plugin? Swerve for 3DS max is not free... :-(

i am honoured with the status of guru but really i have only been playing around with it for a couple of weeks.

i have been searching hi and low and asking everyone i come across in this forum and the java wireless forums but as far as i know there is no free way of converting to the .m3g format.

as you mentioned swerve is one way but not free. i have also been in contact with discreet in relation to their 3ds max and they are working on a plugin which can export m3g files. they have asked me to do some beta testing for them but have not got back to me; i will keep the forum posted of any change.
