Hi,
Does anyone know where to obtain an exporter for M3G files? My searches have come up empty. Thanks! Emery |

as far as i know there are no freely available m3g exporters.
Swerve's Studio can create m3g files (not free) also discreet are working on an exporter for 3ds max, i have been asked to some beta testing but they have not got back to me; will keep forum posted. spob |

Does Swerve Studio already support m3g files? Have you used it?
Superscapes's site states: "Swerve Studio our JSR 184 compliant development toolset is currently available to a limited number of developers working closely with Superscape on the next generation of 3D Java and BREW games." I guess that means it's not available yet. |

i believe it does already supprt m3g files but i have not used it. and no it is not available i have contacted swerve and they said they would try and sort something out for me if they could but did get back to me.

By the way, in this moment how many devices support this technology? Is the JSR 184 in a early state or it's stable?
Well, some devices don't render 2d images fast enough, maybe is not to early to use 3d? I'm justing asking this because I don't know nothing about java 3d in cellphones! Thanks, Ivan |

I will collect information about JSR-184 (devices too) on http://henson.newmail.ru/j2me/jsr184.htm

Hello everybody,
some time has past sice the last post related to this topic. I'm a little curious if there are some news to this. Will there by free exporters or converters for comercial and/or free authoring tools any time soon? Is at least someone working on that issue may be even with progress? Or is nokia planing to either include such a tool in the nokia developer suite or release it in any other form? A lot of thanks for any information Sascha |
