Of course, but you need to use Nokia's proprietary class com.nokia.mid.ui.FullCanvas.

Its possible with Nokia phones but i think some other manufaturers' phone dont have the facility to use the complete screen.

there are some phones of Motorola
where the canvas itself gives u the entire screen.
But for fullScreen there is no implementation in
MIDP.
It is totally depended up on the device
