I've been told once by a customer that the Nokia 6230 Does not sync via bluetooth to laptops and computers , apparently their is a bluetooth problem with the phone.
My Director Purchased one when it was launch and asked me to set it up via bluetooth on his Acer ferrari Laptop but no luck, also tried with another 6230 and another laptop etc. When will this issue be resolved. I don't want to purchase one until then! |

I tried an usb bluetooth device (Manhattan), reaching to exchange files from pc to phone via adaptor software. But the pcsuite didn't find the phone.
Contacted Nokia helpline, finally they gave me this answer: nokia phone supports bluetooth devices only if they use "digianswer 1.09" protocol. I asked for some models of such bluetooth adaptors, but they just said "look for tdk adaptors".... That's the problem, I can't find no adaptor with these specifics; more, there's the Digianswer site that says "digianswer 1,09" it's a discontinued technology. Have you discover other tricks, meanwhile??? I'm still waiting to connect my new 6230 to the pc.... grrrr.... |

The use of Bluetooth in nokia is hard.
the nokia PC Suite don't detect very well the phone. I uso this trick for bluetooht. first, Enable bluetooth. Second, detect the nokia phone using the software of bluetooth adaptapter. (asociate the nokia and press the asociate code.). go to nokia browser and wait after of a seconds the nokia show the phone .. For adaptar you can use conceptronics bluetooth. but you must install the software of bluetooth and pcsuite for exchange the files. If you have problems trie search bluetooth over nokia 6230 in goole |

I use a USB BT adapter, XP SP2, 6230 v4.28.
The Bluetooth connection for GPRS is used without the PCsuite. It connects with no problem, but after a while the phone resets it's self. I never tryed the PCsuite for GPRS connection. Is there a fix for this? BR, |
