Dear developers,
I have downloaded the m3g-ri-bin-11.0b.zip file and I am trying to compile the example provided by Nokia (3D Game Development on JSR-184). I can not understand why classes.zip comes with its own midp.exe. Is it mandatory to use this emulator and preverifier? What about the wireless toolkit? When using both the classes.zip of jsr184 and the midpapi.zip of sun (that comes with the wireless toolkit 2.0) I can not compile! Any ideas? I suspect that both jsr184 and wireless toolkit 2.0 can not work together....? |

Where did you download the api.

The new Wireless Toolkit (2.2 beta) is available from Sun, and it includes JSR-184 support, and even a few sample 3D apps.

do you know of any 3d authoring tools that can create the m3g files needed for import into M3G package?

...any upcoming version planned ?
* Bugs : - the numeric keyboard (computer one) does not reset keypress events and loop forever - sprite3D does not support Alpha channel I suppose those bugs are specific to that emulator because they did not happend on WTK2.2... * WishList : - native linux one is welcome - http proxy support - same memory management as Nokia6630 - more code samples (on sprite3D) - Nokia6630 skin & ergonomic GUI ( no more round keyboard please) - Image.createImage support gif codec fell free to add anything you want ... -- http://rzr.online.fr/java.htm : Diet3D 3D Mobile
