I have a HP nx7010 laptop with WIDCOMM INTERNAL BLUETOOTH (version 802/1.1). My system is WINDOWS XP Pro.
SDK version: 2.1.

The SDKs only support Bluetooth devices that support H4/BCSP and that are possible to be installed as a COM port. The Pc just sees the Bluetooth card as a Windows Communications Port. Otherwise the PC should not know about your Bluetooth device.
Please have a look at the attached image for depiction. You can also find it in the Setting Up and Using Bluetooth Hardware document in Bluetooth -> Documents section. So it might be difficult to get access to the Bluetooth HW of your integrated solution (it is not designed for this kind of use cases...). I would recommend you to purchase a H4 or BCSP compatible Bluetooth card (TDK, for example). USB dongles are not supported by Nokia, but there is a solution from an indepedent developer for that too -> www.cyberabi.com). Please note that laptops may not have enough performance to run the emulator&Bluetooth -> desktop PCs with over 2GHz are recommended. Seppo Forum Nokia |
