I've made a bluetooth game for the 6230 which works reasonably well.

However, I'm trying to get the two phones to disconnect at the end of the game..

I know this is possible, because Beach Rally II - the preloaded game on the 6230 can do this. You get the phone message '<other phone name> Disconnected'.

In my game, I don't get this message until the other phone shuts down the app.

As recommended in the nokia doc, I'm doing this when the game ends..

if(dis != null) try { dis.close(); } catch(Exception e1) {}
if(dos != null) try { dos.close(); } catch(Exception e2) {}

All other objects apart from the input and output streams are local to the connect method..

Has anyone managed to explicitly force a BT disconnect on this phone?
