You have a few alternatives:
1. Using the emulator with Bluetooth HW (you need either two PCs with similar setup or one PC with the emulator and a phone): -you can purchase a H4 or BCSP compatible Bluetooth card, install it as a COM port, and run Bluetooth examples in the phone emulator included in the SDK. Please go to Technology -> Bluetooth -> Documents section at forum.nokia.com and download a 'Setting Up and Using Bluetooth Hardware with Development Tools' document for further information on system requirements and installation guide. -Symbian does not provide support for Bluetooth USB dongles in the SDKs. However, with a specific driver software from Cyberabi (independent software developer) you can use many USB dongles -> further information at www.cyberabi.com 2.Using Bluetooth simulation (without Bluetooth HW): -Go to Tools section at forum.nokia.com and download a Nokia Connectivity Framework tool. It enables you to run multiple emulators and simulate the Bluetooth traffic between them. Hopefully you can find an ideal solution for your needs. Seppo Forum Nokia |
