We are trying to prepare a demo for Siggraph for our upcoming JSR184 exporter. I have a couple Nokia contacts Tomi Aarnio & Taneli Kulo that I have been emailing but no response.
We are hoping to have a demo on an actual phone but from what I've seen no nokia phones are out yet to support this and I want to know if anyone knows of any devices that we could use. I've found several sources of info. about developing and some demo stuff but I'm hoping to find an m3g viewer for the device to load our own models. Anyone know of one or the source code for one? With SIGGRAPH so close it would save time if someone has already done one. Kelly Michels JSR-184 Team discreet QE kelly.michels@discreet.com |

Hi,
here i come with some questions : - what are the recommanded size of the scene ? and camera clipping planes positions (default camera is 1/1000) ? - also it seems that scaling transformations are generating differents meshes in the 3ds side and m3g player's side. Maybe applying transform before exporting is safer , how to do a such thing ? - how comes that some textures are generated darker than other in the m3g stream ? the material props looked the same into max - is there a standalone version of the exporter plugin ? thx ... awaiting for next release :) -- http://rzr.online.fr/java.htm Diet3D : Opensource 3D Mobile |
